Dr. Maulana Maulana wins ICAD Global Lifetime Achievement Award in Diaspora Empowerment.

The father of ‘Right to Return’ 2016 that gave birth to ‘Year of Return’ 2019; and, one of the architects of Ghanaian Citizenship for the African Diaspora in Ghana. Dr.Maulana Maulana has been awarded.

This is in recognition of his good works for the ‘African Descendants of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade’ in both Ghana and throughout Africa.

The ‘International Convention of Africans in the Diaspora’ (ICAD), on Friday, December 8, 2023, honoured Dr.Maulana Maulana for his hard work and dedication in helping to make Ghana and Africa Great Again.

Expressing his appreciation for the award, Dr.Maulana Maulana exhibited his unselfish, straightforward, unpretentious, practical, and efficient tendencies with no special desire for self-aggrandizement.

He called out and gave credit to four other African Diasporans, who have “Walked the Walk” and “Talked the Talk” with him on this long hard enduring journey.

Dr. Maulana Maulana was not awarded alone, other dignitaries including the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II; H.E. Fidelia Graan-Galon, Suriname Ambassador to Ghana; Dr.Francisca Duncan-Williams; Ras Aswad Nkrabea, Deputy CEO of Hempire Agric Ghana; Dr.Opoku Mensah Executive Director of the National Cathedral, and many others were also awarded at the programme.
