Calista Amoateng and Miss Teen Tourism Ghana team welcome Savannah Taylor

It was all joy at the Kotoka International Airport yesterday as the Miss Teen Tourism Ghana team led by the reigning Miss Teen Tourism World, Calista Amoateng welcomed Savannah Raine Taylor.

Savannah Riane Taylor, a South African is the reigning Miss Teen Tourism Universe.

She touched down last night from South Africa ahead of the main pageant in Ghana.

Calista Amoateng, put a kente sache around her neck in addition to a flower bouquet amidst drumming and dancing by a cultural troupe.

Welcoming and his wife also exchanged pleasantries with Savannah Raine.

Speaking to Thespectatoronline.com, The Deputy Head of Corporate Affairs for Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Kofi Atta Kakakra Kusi said, they are happy to welcome Savannah Taylor, awaiting the rest of the delegates and contestants from other countries.

He added that clearly, the contest would be very keen, pointing out that it is their(GTA) wish the crown remain in Africa, especially Ghana, adding that they will provide all the necessary support for a successful event.

Mrs.Stacey Amoateng of Platinum Networks, the power behind Ghana’s readiness to host the rest of the world was also in the thick of affairs at the welcome ceremony yesterday.

Raphaelina Naana Asare, 16, won the coveted title of Miss Teen Tourism Ghana 2023, Petra Ama Agyeiwaa Kumi, Miss Teen Tourism Earth Ghana 2023, Junia Del and Keziah Barnes, Miss Teen Tourism International Ghana 2023, and Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2023, respectively, among others, were also in attendance.

Miss Teen Tourism World is slated for August 1-20, 2023 in Ghana.
