Black Stars to train behind closed doors today

The spokesman of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has disclosed that today’s Black Stars training will be behind closed doors.

Henry Asante Twum made this clear during a press conference on Tuesday after training. 

Today’s training, which will take place at 4:30 p.m., is the third training session since the team pitched camp on Monday at the Alisa Hotel.

The first and second training sessions of the Black Stars were open to the media and general public on Monday and Tuesday. 

This notwithstanding, Mr. Twum revealed at the presser that today’s training will be behind closed doors for technical reasons.

The Black Stars are expected to depart Accra to Antananarivo, Madagascar, on Thursday. 

Ghana will lock horns with Madagascar for the AFCON slot on Sunday,  June 18, 2023.
