With a strong foundation in Christian values, he has dedicated decades to ministering to souls and offering hope to the underprivileged, both in Ghana and abroad.

His teachings are rooted in compassion and transformation, urging believers to embrace faith as a tool for positive change. But Bishop Boateng is not only a man of words; he is also a man of action.

His courage made international headlines when he heroically rescued a young child from the wreckage of a burning truck in the U.S. The selfless act brought immense relief to the child’s mother and reinforced the Bishop’s core belief in service beyond the pulpit.

In July 2025, he was honoured with the Africa Impact Personality of the Year Award (Philanthropy Category) at the African Ambassadors Economic Forum held in Washington, D.C.

The award, presented by the Global Initiative for the Advancement of Africa (GIAA) and Hope Edge International USA, lauded his outstanding humanitarian contributions to the African continent.

The citation was endorsed by prominent figures including Dr Nelson Aluya, President of Hope Edge International USA; Dr Utchay Odims, President of GIAA; and Dr David James Egwu, Co-founder and Managing Director of GIAA, who praised Bishop Boateng’s sustained commitment to improving lives.

In Ghana, his love for humanity is evident through the Divine Privileged Home, an ultra-modern orphanage that provides shelter, education, and healthcare to orphans and widows. In the U.S., he continues to support minority youth, especially through the Unknown Stars Award-a scholarship programme dedicated to empowering underrepresented students to pursue academic excellence and leadership.

He also founded the Faithful Servants Awards, a unique platform that honours civilians, first responders, and law enforcement officers for their dedication to public safety and community welfare.

Bishop Boateng is married to Ewura Adonteng Boateng, with whom he has four children. While committed to his calling in ministry, he remains equally passionate about expanding his charitable reach-supporting educational initiatives, providing scholarships, and uplifting vulnerable communities across the globe.

The receipt of his latest honour in July-his birth month, celebrated on July 21- holds special meaning, adding a personal milestone to a career already rich with accomplishments.

Bishop Dr Adonteng Boateng stands today as a shining example of faith in action. His life’s work continues to be a source of hope, a symbol of compassion, and a beacon of servant leadership for generations to come.
