Beware of quack pastors in the last days/ Upsurge of quack pastors sign of end time

Pastor Markus Dangana Musa
The Treasurer for the West-Central Africa Division of the Seventh – day Adventist (SDA) Church in Abidjan, Pastor Markus Musa Dangana has advised Christians, especially SDA church to be cautious of the recent influx of self-proclaimed men of God in the society.
This, he said, was because the second coming of Jesus Christ was nearer than how people believe.
He gave the advice at a nine-day Satellite Bible Series at the New Life S.D.A church in Koforidua on the theme ‘Almost Home.’
It was organised by the Church to reach out to the world and remind Christians of the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Dangana warned the church against such the self-proclaimed pastors who do not bring hope to people but rather lead them into their graves before their time.
According to Pastor Dangana, the teachings of the false pastors and men of God were nothing but fallacy, because they interpret the Bible in their own way without the power of God.
”They read the current issues in the world and attach a Bible verse they do not even understand to frighten people in these difficult times” he said.
Pastor Dangana encouraged Christians to be vigilant and decisive in order not to fall into the traps of these self-styled prophets.
He advised the church especially the SDA church members to hold on to their faith and renew their commitment and relationship with God to enjoy his promises.
He said these were the days that people should seriously run to God and stop seeking for power and material things.
The Pastor Dangana also urged political leaders to give campaign promises that can be fulfilled because everyone would account for his or her deeds on earth.
The Omanhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwahu Boateng III in a speech read on his behalf by the Gyaashene of the Area, Nana Twumasi Danquah urged members to strive to live a life that reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
The Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Seth Kwame Acheampong in a speech read on his behalf by Ms. Sarah Somuah congratulated the church for its continuous support to government in education and health.
The programme was organised by the West-Central Africa Division, Southern Ghana Union Conference, East Ghana Conference and the New Life S.D.A church.
