Ghanaian UK-based gospel musician, Alice McKenzie has launched a foundation to put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians in the area of healthcare delivery.

Speaking to The Spectator at the event held at Sowutuom last Saturday, she said the official launch of the foundation was in fulfilment of a long hatched dream, adding that, the realisation gladdens her heart.

According to her the late diagnosis and medical negligence led to the death of her mother, a situation which inspired her to set up the foundation.

Also the gospel musician added that a friend contacted her on some of the challenges in the Ghanaian health sector, and against this backdrop, she decided with the team to launch the foundation.

She was optimistic that this foundation would go a long way to create awareness about early diagnosis which is crucial in saving lives and also help in training of some health professionals.

Additionally, she revealed that the foundation would assist people finally in the area of healthcare among others.

Alice McKenzie called on all and sundry to come on board to make a huge impact in the lives of the downtrodden.

She is currently out with a new single titled ‘Beautiful’, a thanksgiving song that expresses her gratitude for what God has done in her life.
