Aforkpadodo rites performed for Torgbui Badu IV

It was all joy and excitement in the township of Anloga where the ‘Sanderling’ rites (Aforkpadodo rites) was performed for Torgbui Badu IV, the head of the Klevia Clan of Anlo.
At the end of the solemn occasion, Torgbui Badu IV, with reverence and a heart full of gratitude, offered praise to God for the successful ‘Sanderling’ rites held at Anloga.
The Aforkpadodo, marked by its sacred uniqueness and distinguished exclusivity, bore testimony to the enduring strength and divine favour upon the Badu Stool.
In the presence and gracious companionship of the esteemed Awadada, Torgbui Agbesi Awusu II of Ewedukor, and Torgbui Duklui Attipoe, as they journeyed alongside Torgbui Badu IV to the Klevia Headquarters at the revered Mama Gbotonya shrine in Anloga, was an act of deep brotherhood and ancestral unity.
With profound humility and great honour, Torgbui Badu IV declared the moment as historic for the Klevia Clan and the entire Badu Royal Family.
“To behold Awadada Torgbui Agbesi Awusu II tread upon the sacred grounds of the Royal Klevia Headquarters is a blessing our ancestors themselves would rejoice over—for his presence within the shrine of Mama Gbotonya is a divine affirmation of unity and spiritual alignment,” he said.
Torgbui Badu IV, known in private life as Paul Dogboe and celebrated as one of Ghana’s renowned boxing coaches, further proclaimed that the journey ahead beckons: first, to duly enstool the vacant Klevia thrones by discerning the rightful heirs with wisdom and ancestral guidance; and second, to restore the lost lands of Klevia through resolute and rightful advocacy.
“This call is sacred, and all sons and daughters of the Klevia Clan must rise to its significance and embrace their ancestral duty with vigilance and unity,” he stated.
