Speaking at a forum organised by Graphic Showbiz in partnership with Multichoice Ghana on the future of Ghana’s movie industry, Mr.Quashigah said, producers go through a lot of challenges to get money to produce movies only to be pirated through the aid of platforms like Telegram.

He noted that he has sent various e-mails and filed complaints over time but to no avail.

The award-winning producer called for the engagement of international lawyers to take a class legal action against Telegram to avert the situation.

The Farm House boss praised other platforms for their proactiveness in protecting copyrighted works, but not Telegram.
