Students donate to Orphanage after successful BECE

Former students of Immanuel Presbyterian Basic ‘A’ School have donated to an Orphanage after a successful Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE).

They are, Samuel Opoku Nhyira, Ohemaa Akyaa Okyere-Darko, Duchess Ivy Eliklpim, Faustina A. Afelik, Robert Salapkui, Juanita Tanoh, Lily Addobea Effah, Comfort Akyaa, Alexander Addae, Barikisu Osman and Salma Abdul Rahman.

A total of 603,328 candidates across the country sat for the 2025 BECE, scheduled from Wednesday, June 11, to Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Following the successful completion of their exams, these students gathered savings made from their stipends given to them by their parents for charity.

They bought items like rice, drinks, cooking oil, and toiletries among others. The students then presented the items to children at Madina Social Welfare, Echoing Hill Village.

According to them, the gesture was to share the little they have with these orphans and put smiles on their faces.
