Son Of Jacob album is a personal experience- Kwesi Arthur

Ghanaian music sensation, Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, known as Kwesi Arthur in the entertainment circles has revealed that his new album christened Son Of Jacob was conceptualised on his personal experience in life.

According to him, this is a real life story, for which elicited some passion and  emotions during the recording of the album.

Speaking to The Spectator at the exclusive listening held at the One Airport Square on Thursday, April 21, 2022, he said, “ The songs on the album touch different experiences, different people, the project has different vibes.”

Kwesi Arthur added that his belief in God and upbringing in a christian home  played a role in his life hence the use of Son of Jacob as the title.

He said one of the songs, Silver Spoon was a brief story of how painful the death of his grandmother, head of their family affected him.

“My grandmother was so dear to my heart, and as the head of our family, losing her was painful,” he told this reporter.

He further noted that though the album represented moments in his life, he would want other people to have their own personal experiences and relate to the stories shared.

Kwesi Arthur recounted periods of working into the night to get the mix right and everything perfected on the album.

The 15-track album is made up of songs like Drama, Disturb, Baajo, Jungle Music, Pt. 2, Silver Spoon, Paper, Celebrate, Toxic, Traumatized, Winning, Mind Over Body, Animal, Diamonds Dancing, No Regrets and Adom.
