Sad news: Legon Cities shot-stopper Sylvester Sackey passes on
Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities have lost its shot-stopper, Sylvester Sackey.
The team announced on its social media platforms that “It is with a heavy heart that we sadly announce the passing of our goalkeeper, Sylvester Sackey.”
“Sackey has been with us the last four seasons and was our first-choice goalkeeper for a greater part of the last two seasons,” the statement added.
According to reports reaching spectator.com.gh, Sylvester Sackey has been ill for some time now.
