Police commence investigation into East Legon accident
The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into an accident that occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at East Legon in Accra.
The unfortunate accident led to the death of two persons.
In a statement issued today, the police noted preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect driver, identified as Salifu Amoako, rammed his vehicle into another vehicle on Dzanie Ashie Street at East Legon.
Both vehicles caught fire and burnt beyond recognition.The suspect driver and other surviving victims are currently receiving medical attention.
Meanwhile, one of the surviving victims has since been treated and discharged, while the bodies of the deceased victims have been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
