Minister for Interior visits NADMO
As part of his ongoing working visit to the Agencies under the Ministry of the Interior,Muntaka Mohamed-Mubarak visited National Disaster Management Organization’s (NADMO) Headquarters yesterday in Accra.
He interacted with management and staff of NADMO and listened to their concerns and shared his vision to improve the services of the agencies under the Ministry.
He commended the staff for their efforts in disaster management and mitigation, and assured them of the government’s commitment to providing the necessary resources and support to enable them discharge their duties effectively.
He emphasised the importance of disaster preparedness and response, and encouraged NADMO to continue working closely with other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to disaster management.
The Minister’s visit forms part of his efforts to familiarise himself with the operations of the various agencies under the Ministry of the Interior, and to identify areas for improvement and collaboration.
