Mercy School Limited holds 23rd graduation speech & Prize giving day

The Mercy School Limited held its 23rd graduation speech and award ceremony on Tuesday at Gbawe Bulemin in Accra.
The ceremony themed “Education in the digital age” was to usher young students to various stages of their academic journey.
It was a colourful ceremony with parents and graduates dressed in woven Kente outfits.
A total of 35 students graduated, moving from Kindergarten 2 to primary 1 and 18 from Junior High School to the Senior High School.
Deserving students were awarded for their hard work and academic achievements.
In attendance was the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Mr Elikplim Akurugu who commended the management and staff of the school for sticking to the core values which includes godliness, excellence and leadership.
He called for other educational institutions to emulate those values in order to raise great scholars who also have a relationship with God.
“When there is Godly discipline in schools, parents can be confident that their investments into their children’s education will yield greater results, not only for the student or the family, but also for the society,” she said.
The director of the school, Mrs. Grace Ayesu said that the school was committed to remain relevant, innovative, and forward-thinking in how they train the children.
Mrs Ayesu emphasised that the digital age calls for creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability, saying that it was the school mission to equip every student with the skills, values, and digital literacy required to thrive in this ever-changing environment.
