Kwaw Kese declares political intention

VETERAN Ghanaian Hiplife artiste Emmanuel Kofi Botwe popularly known as Kwaw Kese has announced his intention to venture into politics, specifically as a Member of Parliament (MP).

The rapper revealed in an interview that he would consider the move once he is financially capable.

“When I get enough money, I proceed with political plans,” he said when asked if he had plans to go into politics.

Kwaw Kese elaborated that he would want to represent his hometown constituency adding that “I would start as an MP. Yeah. I’d represent my people, Agona Swedru,” he explained.

He further noted that when the time comes, he would seek guidance from political activist and musician Kwame A Plus, who he described as a neighbour.

“If I want to enter politics, A Plus is my neighbour, Gomoa and Agona, so I can tap into his blessings, I can seek advice,” he added.

Kwaw Kese is a prominent Ghanaian hiplife artist known for his eccentric ‘Abodam’ (madness) persona. Rising to fame in 2004 through Hammer of The Last Two, he is a multiple Ghana Music Award winner recognized for hits like ‘Oye Nonsense’ and ‘Ma Tewo Kwakwa’.
