Knowledge is to be shared — Abla Dzifa Gomashie Champions Mentorship in Ghana’s Creative Industry

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has emphasised the need for mentorship and knowledge-sharing in Ghana’s creative sector.
During a meeting with Fynn Exhibits and PCC Group, she called on seasoned professionals to support and uplift young creatives, rather than gatekeep opportunities.
A national photography competition, supported by UNESCO, will spotlight youth voices, while international collaborator Wojciech Zaremba announced upcoming exhibitions in Poland, Slovakia, and a major showcase at Ghana’s National Museum, featuring award-winning global talents and Ghanaian creatives.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment through training in photography, cinematography, and storytelling.
She said, steps are being taken to launch capacity-building workshops in collaboration with the National Film Authority.
This growing partnership aims to connect Ghana’s creative talents to the global stage.
