Ghanaian rapper, Amarado has narrated events leading to his collaboration with Black Sherif on the smash hit song, ‘Abotr3’ to wit, Patience.

Amerado in 2021 had a huge record dubbed ‘Abotr3’ on his Patience EP, the song made a lot of waves and was nominated by numerous award schemes.

Speaking in an interview with 3 Music’s Big Convo, he said the purpose of his visit to Black Sherif’s camp was to beg his then manager, Shadrach Agyei Owusu, Also Known As, Snap Wayne Chavis.

“I’m going to open up, I went to the UK and a friend of mine who connected through Facebook told me he knew Black Sherif’s then manager. At the time I didn’t have a car, so he told me if I wanted a car, he could link me up,” he said.

According to the rapper, his friend informed him that Black Sherif’s then Manager, “Snap Wayne Chavis, liked me, so when I returned to Ghana from the UK, the first thing I did was to go to him.”

Amerado revealed that when he got to the house and called him, Chavis informed him that they were eating at the East Legon branch of Starbite.

“I went there, and he was eating with Black Sherif and the crew, I sat down and waited for them, he asked whether I had eaten and bought food for me,” he added.

Interestingly, when they got home and he was asked what his mission was, he quickly switched from his pursuit of a car to a feature with Black Sherif.

“When they asked me what I wanted to do, I told them I wanted to feature Black Sherif, at the time, he had done his second sermon, and when I met him, I felt like this was my moment, I had to take advantage of the opportunity,” Amerado revealed.

According to Amerado, “he told me they had a studio there, I already had a beat on my phone; however, luckily, I saw Producer Samsney, who then started programming something new, for this reason, I held on to my earlier beat.”

The Abotr3 hitmaker said Black Sherif asked for the message he wanted on the song, “and I told him our journey had been rough before getting here, so it would be better we talk about patience, the need to excise patience in one’s quest to get to the top.”

Amerado said, Black Sherif started with some melodies, and they had such a big song dubbed ‘Abotr3’.
