I pledge to discharge this duty to the satisfaction of Ghanaians- Sam George

Minister Designate for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George has expressed his appreciation to the President for his appointment.

According to him, he pledges to discharge his duty to the satisfaction of Ghanaians.

In a post on Facebook after his announcement, he stated that “This afternoon, I received notification of my nomination by H.E. John Dramani Mahama as the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations. I am immensely humbled by this opportunity to serve his government and our Nation.”

“I pledge myself to discharge this duty to the satisfaction of the Ghanaian people and admiration of His Excellency,” he promised.

He added that “Subject to the required Parliamentary approval, I commit to undertake a reset of our communications sector and position Ghana once again as a leader in digital technology that serves the people of Ghana.”

“I count on you all for constructive feedback to enable me achieve the needed changes and introduce the needed innovation into the sector. I would not fail you in my service to you. My doors are always open,” he revealed.

“Once again, my gratitude to God Almighty, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the wonderful people of Ningo-Prampram and my beloved family.
Ghana goes truly digital. Get ready!
For God and Country,” he concluded.
