All roads lead to the Emmanuel As­semblies of God Church at Stadium Dadiesoaba Y.F in Kumasi as legendary Ghanaian gospel singer Akua Serwaa Bonsu makes a powerful comeback Live In Con­cert.

Having been inactive in Ghana’s gospel music fraternity for over 30 years, Akua Ser­waa is set to make her first major appear­ance with the ‘Adanse Pa Wave 25’ Live in Concert in Ghana, following the successful Germany edition in 2024.

In an Interview with The Spectator Agoro, she said the free concert celebrates her fifth studio album, ‘Adanse Pa’, which was released on December 8, 2023, marking her return after a long break in her music career.

According to her, ‘Adanse Pa Wave’ will feature guest artistes including Rev. Dr Mary Ghansah, Kwaku Gyasi, Adwoa Amankwaa, McDaniels O. Bonsu, Adom Kiki, and Sandy Asare.

Legendary gospel singer, Rev. Yab will join as a collaborating artiste, with Akua Serwaa Bonsu as the main artiste.

Her upcoming live concert in Kumasi promises a spirit-filled experience of praise, worship, and soul-lifting gospel music.

Akua Serwaa Bonsu has contributed significantly to Ghana’s gospel music scene since 1997, with her hit album ‘Nsama­rane,’ followed by ‘Noah Nna No’ (2000) and ‘Ebeyeyie’ (2002).

These albums were produced by the late German sound engineer Bodo Staiger. Her music journey has included collaborations with Ghanaian music legends such as Daddy Lumba, K.K. Kabobo, Oheneba Kissi and many others.
