Forgive me- Lil Win publicly apologises to Martha Ankomah

Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, affectionately called Lil Win has openly apologised to his colleague Martha Ankomah for defamatory comments made.

Martha Ankomah sued Kwadwo Nkansah for defamation, demanding a Gh¢5 million compensation in addition to other damages.

In a writ of summons filed on February 14, 2024, Martha Ankomah claimed that the statement made by Lil Win had caused harm to her reputation and the brand, GTP.

Speaking on United Showbiz on UTV last Saturday, Lil Win said, whoever he had offended should forgive him.

Against this backdrop, he urged Martha Ankoman to forgive him, adding that he is not beyond apology.

He noted his intention was not to disrespect such a hard-working colleague, noting that whatever damage his utterances had caused her should be forgiven.

The case was expected to begin on Friday 2, however, Lawyer for the plaintiff, Nii Apatu Plange, told the Court that there had been some development to the effect that Lil Win had requested for settlement.

The Judge, Justice Forson Agyapong Baah, adjourned to August 15 for the parties to finalise the terms of settlement for adoption by the court as a consent judgment.
