First Day In Office: Vice President meets diplomatic envoys

As part of Vice President, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang’s first day in office activities, she met some diplomatic envoys

In a post on her Facebook, she indicated that “first day in office as Vice President of the Republic of Ghana included, notably, a visit from the Israeli Government.”

They are diplomatic envoys of Israel to Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone were led by Ambassador Roey Gilad and Sharren Haskel, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.

“Over the course of our discussion, I emphasised our willingness to collaborate with Israel and to align our priorities to achieve mutual benefits,” she revealed.

She highlighted the critical need for support as they work to rebuild the economy, particularly in the area of food security.

The envoys expressed interest in mutual collaboration and promised to facilitate further discussions on future collaborations.
