Beef sauce

Ingredients

• 1 pound beef
• 1 large red bell pepper
• 1 large yellow bell pepper
• 1 large green bell pepper
• 2 carrots
• 2 large onions
• 1 tablespoonful of ginger paste
• 2 tablespoonful of garlic paste
• 3 tablespoonful of soy sauce
• 1 seasoning cube
• 3 tablespoonful of oil

Method

  1. Cut beef into very thin sizes.
  2. Wash thoroughly and parboil with salt and water.
  3. Add ginger and garlic paste, diced scallions, Anise, seasoning and salt to taste.
  4. Mix together and set aside.
  5. Cut carrots, bell pepper, onions and set aside.
  6. In a pan, sprinkle some oil and sauté vegetables for about a minute.
  7. Season with some seasoning cube, salt to taste and set aside.
  8. Sprinkle some oil in the pan and steam meat till very tender.
  9. Dilute corn starch with water and add to the meat.
  10. Sprinkle soy sauce and stir.
  11. Allow to simmer under low heat for about 10 minutes.
  12. Add water if necessary to get your preferred thickness.
  13. Add vegetables, mix well and allow to simmer for 40 seconds and your beef sauce is ready.
  14. Serve hot with rice or any preferred side dish.
