Beef sauce
Ingredients
• 1 pound beef
• 1 large red bell pepper
• 1 large yellow bell pepper
• 1 large green bell pepper
• 2 carrots
• 2 large onions
• 1 tablespoonful of ginger paste
• 2 tablespoonful of garlic paste
• 3 tablespoonful of soy sauce
• 1 seasoning cube
• 3 tablespoonful of oil
Method
- Cut beef into very thin sizes.
- Wash thoroughly and parboil with salt and water.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, diced scallions, Anise, seasoning and salt to taste.
- Mix together and set aside.
- Cut carrots, bell pepper, onions and set aside.
- In a pan, sprinkle some oil and sauté vegetables for about a minute.
- Season with some seasoning cube, salt to taste and set aside.
- Sprinkle some oil in the pan and steam meat till very tender.
- Dilute corn starch with water and add to the meat.
- Sprinkle soy sauce and stir.
- Allow to simmer under low heat for about 10 minutes.
- Add water if necessary to get your preferred thickness.
- Add vegetables, mix well and allow to simmer for 40 seconds and your beef sauce is ready.
- Serve hot with rice or any preferred side dish.
