AMA, KoKMA decongest Accra

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) in collaboration with the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA) has conducted a three-day decongestion exercise in the Central Business District (CBD) other parts of the capital city to clear unauthorized structures.
The exercise was also to moved hawkers away from pedestrian walkways and make movement easy and to also ease traffic congestion.
The taskforce moved to areas like AMA head office area, Kinbu, Tudu, to Makola.
The move is in accordance with the AMA Hawkers Bye-Laws (2017) and Section 117(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations, 2012 (L.I. 2180).
