The Ambassador of Turkey to Ghana, H.E. Hรผseyin Gรผngรถr, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, at his office in Accra.
During the meeting, Hon. Muntaka expressed Ghanaโs appreciation for Turkeyโs support in various fields, including security and economic development. He also highlighted the Prison Agriculture Project, an initiative aimed at addressing the feeding crises within Ghanaโs prisons.
The Minister emphasised the importance of cooperation between the two nations in areas such as counter-terrorism, cyber security, and capacity building for security services.
The Turkish Ambassador, H.E. Hรผseyin Gรผngรถr reiterated Turkeyโs commitment to strengthening its relationship with Ghana and enhancing cooperation in area of mutual interest.
The meeting paves the way for future collaborations, particularly in addressing Ghanaโs prison feeding crises through sustainable agricultural practices.
