𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐠𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚’𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬

The Paramount Chief of Yoo Traditional Area, Savelugu, Yoo Naa Andani Yakubu Abdulai, has commended the Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, for his appointment and efforts to promote peace and security in the country.

During a meeting with the Minister, Yoo Naa Andani Yakubu emphasised the importance of peace and security for national development and praised Muntaka’s stakeholder engagement initiatives. 

He also called on youth involved in substance abuse to desist, citing its negative impact on individuals and the country’s development.

The Chief further urged the government to provide adequate resources to security personnel to enhance their effectiveness. 

In response, Hon. Muntaka thanked the Chief for his support, stressing that maintaining peace and security is a collective responsibility.

Mubarak Muntaka assured them that the Ministry of the Interior would continue to prioritise peace and stability, enabling citizens to pursue their economic activities freely and drive development.

The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between traditional leaders and government in promoting peace and security in the country.
